the practice
—practices for real life
The Full Story
i came to yoga because i hated my body.
i stayed because it changed the parts of me that needed to.
on the mat, i discovered how good it felt to move without punishment
to notice what my body could do instead of how it looked.
slowly, i began to soften.
i began to listen.
i began to like myself.
yoga became the doorway to everything else
a ten-year journey into awareness, emotional intelligence, and community.
it taught me how to open my heart, how to regulate my nervous system,
how to repair what was broken in my relationships,
and how to ask for help—and receive it.
it seems strange to credit yoga for all that.
after all, it’s just stretching and breathing.
but it has given me constant intimacy with life
the kind of wonder that makes me want to write it all down.
i will never capture the godliness of this life,
but i will spend every moment trying,
and not a moment will be wasted.

the art of receiving
thai massage
Thai massage is often described as assisted yoga—a unique blend of assisted stretching, rhythmic movement, acupressure, and mindful touch. Performed fully clothed on a comfortable floor mat, each session is designed to help release tension, improve mobility, calm the nervous system, and create space for deep rest. You leave the session feeling 2 inches taller and 10 years younger.
I approach thai massage through an ayurvedic lens, working with each person’s unique constitution. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all technique, I adjust pressure, pace, and rhythm to meet the needs of your system.
Kapha types benefit most from a firm, deep touch that penetrates their muscle density.
Vata types are already mobile with an overactive mind and benefit most from a slow, grounding, and nourishing touch.
Pitta types, often addicted to intensity while being deeply sensitive, say they want deep tissue, but respond best to relaxing, rhythmic, trance-like touch.

about me
nicole the yoga teacher
i’ve been teaching for over ten years.
my life is my yoga practice
not something i do only when i roll out the mat
my classes are perfect for beginners,
if walking into a studio feels too intimidating
they’re also for those wanting to deepen their practice
to explore philosophy, pranayama, and their inner world.
if you’re looking for a workout, i’m not your girl.
while the physical practice is beautiful,
toning and strengthening the body,
those are simply the side effects of yoga’s true work:
transformation.
